Fanni joined the Archivum in October 2018, where she is the Education Program and Governance Support Officer. Her tasks include organizing various programs for high-school and university students, promoting cooperation with the academic community, and supporting the projects and operations of the Archivum. Previously, she studied international relations, and film theory in Budapest, at Corvinus, and at Eötvös Loránd University, and international law and human rights at Maastricht University. Following a few legal internships at the ADC-ICTY, the British Institute of International and Comparative Law, and the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights, and a PhD program at KU Leuven cut short, she returned to Budapest to join the Archivum.
CEU, History in the Public Sphere
This 2-month program at the Archivum is centered on the theme of Reconstruction. It focuses on two aspects: (re)constructing history in the archives, and (re)constructing history in the public sphere. Throughout the program, this theme offers points of comparison and contrast in terms of the goals, the methods, the target audiences, the opportunities, and the challenges of (re)constructing history in these two domains.
