Katalin Gádoros, Head of Administration at the Blinken OSA Archivum, is responsible for an annual core budget, external funding, donations, hiring policies, and the flawless operations of the unit within the legal and administrative framework of the University. Her responsibilities cover the coordination of the Blinken OSA Archivum’s fundraising, its international grants, and programs. She is the coordinator of the Blinken OSA Archivum’s own research grants schemes, which offered over 1,000 individual and team awards to date. During the more than a quarter of a century she spent in this position, Ms. Gádoros has submitted over 60 grant applications internationally and locally. She has been the participant administrative coordinator of several major European Union research grants, among them HOPE, EAWARENESS, EUROPEANA DS, and EUROPE FOR CITIZENS. She submitted applications to and was the chief coordinator of several smaller grants the Blinken OSA Archivum received from, among others, the ERSTE Foundation, the Fritt Ord Foundation, the US Embassy in Hungary, or the Hungarian Cultural Fund. The Blinken OSA Archivum was participant in one of the first Culture 2000 programs (Overcoming Dictatorships) and was the project leader of another (History After the Fall), both of which were coordinated and administered by Ms. Gádoros. She has been the chief administrative coordinator of the Archivum’s own Aaron Swartz Fellowship and the Hoover Archives Research Assistance Scholarship as well as the Visegrad Scholarship at OSA grant scheme since its inception in 2010, offered jointly with the International Visegrad Fund, which have so far supported about 300 candidates worldwide.
